The main objective of this working group will be to undertake a complete study of the current state of affairs between Colombian and the European Union as a whole. It also aims at studying bilateral relations between Colombia and each one of the member countries, with the aim of analyzing and identifying those countries with which Colombia should strengthen its bilateral ties.

The idea is to go beyond the given perspectives regarding the current relations between the European Union and Colombia, which are based on the insights and discussions made in variety scenarios by different groups of experts on issues such as commerce, security, politics, Human Rights and cooperation. Furthermore, the group will try to make some recommendations that could help shape a coherent foreign policy for Colombia, that will enable a beneficial integration of the country within the international system.
